Our “Support Black Doctors” Block pin boldly states our motto, which is multifaceted and vital to us. For one, Black doctors endure systemic racism and bias while overcoming the many obstacles throughout the medical journey. And as Black Physicians account for only 5% of doctors in the United States, the need to diversify medicine helps to serve our communities, communities of color, and underserved communities with poor access to quality health care. Supporting Black Doctors supports us all.
